Recreation Center is a small ceramic brand focused on quality made, functional pieces that are made to assist and contribute to a less boring and more colorful day.

The brand was started by Josephine Noel in 2012. Since then she has been making everything with her two bare hands in hopes that each item is used, shared and enjoyed every single day.

Since all items are made by one person, me :-), they can sometimes take a little while to arrive at your door. Please feel free to email me with any questions, concerns or love letters, I love hearing from you. But please note that it sometimes takes a while to get back since its only me!

Q: How much is shipping?

A:Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and is a flat fee. The beginning rate for the first item is $10. After that it is $5 per additional item. Items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A:Yes! I offer shipping worldwide no matter where you live on planet earth. Shipping costs start at $15 for the first item then $10 is added per additional item. Keep in mind that shipping might take longer than usual and I cannot be responsible for what happens at customs.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my order?

A:Unless otherwise specified, all items take about 6 weeks to ship. This is because it’s just me in the studio ( can you believe it?!) and I make everything by hand and all items are made to order. Once the item is packed you will receive an email with tracking information. The item will take 1-3 days to arrive once shipped.

Q: How do I care for my new items?

A:All items require something a little different. If the item you own has a rubber dipped handle I recommend hand washing with soap and warm water. This item should also not be placed in the microwave. All other items can be placed in the dishwasher if this makes it easier for you. But I do recommend hand washing since repetitive machine washing might affect the appearance of the glaze.

Q: Do you do custom orders?

A:I love working collaboratively with interior designers, architects and hospitality. I am also happy to work direct to customer if the project fits. Please email me at hello@recreationcentershop.com with any questions and ideas.

Q: Do you offer wholesale?

A: Yes! Although this is always based on brand compatibility and workload. Please email me with store information and I will send over a line sheet.
